About
The Design Theory and Methodology (DTM) conference promotes research, dissemination of knowledge, and debate in topics including scientific theories of design, creativity and innovation in design, formal design methods, product modeling, design pedagogy, and design management. We welcome inter-disciplinary perspectives that extend the understanding of and application of design. Authors and presenters are invited to participate in this event to expand international cooperation, understanding, and promotion of efforts and disciplines in the area of Design Theory and Methodology. Dissemination of knowledge by presenting research results, new developments, and novel concepts at DTM serves as the foundation upon which knowledge in this field advances. Scholarly papers describing rigorous research in all areas of design theory and methodology are invited.
Mission
The mission of the Design Theory and Methodology Committee is to facilitate and enhance the development of design theories and the methods that grow from them.
